MAY FAVORITES

In three days, May will be over and June will take over. Whew! Dude, May flew by so fast. Summer is about to be over and school season is IN! How I wish I will be a student again. Broke but happy. Hahaha! Can somebody please press the rewind button? Kidding aside, I am here to share again my beauty faves of the month. Summer may be over but our makeup addiction will never stop. So, let's do this.

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner //  Php 440 // Althea Korea
Nature Republic Aloe Vera  Soothing Gel Mist // Php 260 // Althea Korea

1. Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner - I am super duperly inlove with this toner. This 10-in1 product comes in a 250ml bottle and gives you all the good stuff your skin needs. It helps minimize pores, balances skin's PH level, refines skin tone, removes dead skin cells, deep cleanse pores, controls sebum and so much more. I have never come across a toner that has TEN claims that actually stays true to its promises. Anything that says "PORES" is actually calling my name and this did not disappoint. It is very light on the skin like water and I think this is the best toner that I have ever used. It really made a huge difference to my skin. Ma feel jud nako.

2. Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel Mist - You know I am all over the NR Gel but this functions just the same as the gel but unlike its predecessor, this one is in a mist form(obviously) but I find that this works good as a makeup setting spray. There are no rules to this mist as to when to apply it or how to incorporate to your routine, just spray it whenever or wherever and you feel instantly refreshed.

Laura Mercier Candleglow Sheer Powder // Php 1750 // Rustans
Wet n Wild Photofocus Pressed Powder // Php 370 // Beautyhub_ph

3. Laura Mercier Candleglow Sheer Perfecting Powder 01 - When I swatched this at Rustans, I was instantly sold. When they say "Candleglow", they mean it literally. It gives you that glowing look from within without giving you that powdery look. This one is very sheer on the face and it blurs out your pores making you look like a million bucks. This powder makes me look like I had about ten showers for the day. Haha! No exaggeration right there but this one is for the books. Anything that cancels my pores, I am all about that life.

4. Wet n Wild Photofocus Pressed Powder - If you have glaring pores like me and you need a good alternative to the LM Powder, get this one instead. This also blurs out my pores and the good thing is that it does not add color or coverage to your foundation. This will only set your foundation in a beautiful way. I use this one and the LM interchangeably because both deliver the same result but unlike LM, this one doesn't give you that glow but for its price, this one is such a steal.

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara // $ 23 // Ulta Beauty
Inglot AMC Brow Gel Liner // Php 895 // Inglot

5. Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara - I have been using this mascara non-stop lately. This 4-in-1 mascara claims to be best in lengthening, curling, volumizing and conditioning. Among all being mentioned, this mascara is best for lengthening and volumizing IMO. What I like the most is the fact that it is water-proof but is very EASY to remove. The Heroine Make one which is my holy grail will still be my HG but that one is a pain in the butt to remove. This one is very easy to remove and it does not smudge on me even if I have oily skin. Such a winner!

6. Inglot AMC Brow Liner in 16 - I am obsessed with brow products lately.  I will forever love my Anastasia Brow Pomade but this one stole the spotlight in a snap.  This one is very creamy but dries like the dipbrow does.  When I first used it, I didn't like it at first because of the formula, but I have been using it for filling in my brow after I outline with my dipbrow and now, it's a staple.

What have you been loving this month? Do share! I just wish summer weather is over. I need my makeup to stay in place. Anyone having the same dilemma?

XOXO,
Angeli G.
