JULY FAVORITES

Mr. Sun is taking a vacay somewhere in Greece and Mr. Rain is taking over. It’s still sunny in Cebu but it is mostly cloudy and rainy during noon and night. It has been crazy adjusting to this insane weather. Should I wear BB cream or not? Should I just stick to sunscreen? Decisions after decisions on my makeup choices can really take a toll on me.(#firstworldproblems) No matter how hard, my decision is final when it comes to my monthly favorites. JUNE FAVORITES

 

Here comes another round of my monthly favorites and I can't wait to share with you what I have been loving, dying, breathing recently. Two months to go and we are nearing the BER season already. I can't wait. But first, check out my raves this month.

I have been ranting non-stop about our weather here in Cebu that I almost ran out of energy to put on makeup(eek!).  You take an extra hour to perfect your base and then after an hour or so, poof it’s gone. With that, I have been forced to hunt for a BB cream that can really withstand the insane weather in Cebu. I am personally not a fan of BB creams because I find that they don’t stay longer than a foundation would. I hate retouching because I feel that it’s such a waste of product. But, I have discovered the trick to prolonging the wear of your BB cream(which I will share here) so all I need to do is find one that is very lightweight and gives you more of a demi-matte finish.  Lo and behold, this 24-peso BB cream from iWhite Korea is just heaven-sent because it is not only affordable but it claims to provide natural looking coverage. Hmm, but is it worth it? Let’s see..

MAY FAVORITES

In three days, May will be over and June will take over. Whew! Dude, May flew by so fast. Summer is about to be over and school season is IN! How I wish I will be a student again. Broke but happy. Hahaha! Can somebody please press the rewind button? Kidding aside, I am here to share again my beauty faves of the month. Summer may be over but our makeup addiction will never stop. So, let's do this.

Hey guys, summer is right around the corner and do you think that the equinox phenomenon is all to blame for this crazy blazing heat? Its just toooo hot in Cebu that I need to triple slap my face with sunscreen. Not the most glamorous but SPF is a must nowadays. But first, let me share my March faves that I have been loving recently.

My response?? "WHATEVER!!!!!" eyes rolling, flips hair and continues ruling the world.

Seriously, make-up shaming has skyrocketed over the past year. Due to the emerging of social media and the growth of beauty gurus, it is inevitable that makeup tutorials can be very enticing and you can't help but be curious. Despite the glam that comes with it, this gurus or anyone in particular, are the middle of ridicule. WHY?? Because cosmetics are for insecure human beings. Oh really? Well, EFF OFF!
