Seriously, make-up shaming has skyrocketed over the past year. Due to the emerging of social media and the growth of beauty gurus, it is inevitable that makeup tutorials can be very enticing and you can't help but be curious. Despite the glam that comes with it, this gurus or anyone in particular, are the middle of ridicule. WHY?? Because cosmetics are for insecure human beings. Oh really? Well, EFF OFF! Let me tell  you about my make-up journey and why make-up shaming should be put to rest.

Hello lovies, it is just the fourth of March but it seems like a lot has happened already, right? Despite my amicable absence I hope you are doing fine this first quarter of the year. How's it been for you? I hope you all have a good first round of the year. It ain't bad, right? Anyway, it has been awhile that I have been doing my favorites series. There was nothing that stood out to me, make-up wise, because I have been doing "minimal" makeup lately. The moment when you realize that a new makeup shop just pop out of Cebu, the initial thing you do is scream, calm down and head to the shop. It's so simple. I have been longing for Benefit to open a store in Cebu and I am so happy when it hit the shores. There's a major reason why Benefit is the buzz right now and why you should check them out. Hello, my lovies! Sorry for being MIA again. May and June was pretty much a whirlwind for me. From company events to personal callings, I don't know where my beauty soul has been lately. I had a major pimple outbreak for the past week which also contributed to giving my face a makeup break. Hi guys, let's take a little break from makeup and turn the limelight over to skincare. I was never the one who would religiously slather more than 2 products onto my face before going to bed. I mostly just wash my face with facial wash then put on some moisturizer and doze off.  But lately, I noticed that my skin has been breaking out due to the numerous beauty products I slap onto my face.

Keeping up with the whole "starting out" theme, let's talk about make-up. I have been liking this starter kit series that I wanted to blog about another post on drugstore make-up. But this time, let's take the more economical route. If you are living in the Philippines, particularly Cebu, you know that it's such a bum that we don't have that much access to other drugstore foreign brands. But, there are several good stuff in our local drugstore that are within reach which I highly recommend. These are all affordable products that perform way even better than the high-end ones.
